Laura Linney

Laura Linney is an American actor who became well-known for her portrayal of vulnerable, but strong characters. Linney was born into a theatre family her father was a playwright Romulus Linney. Linney received her degree from Brown University in 1986 and then went on to study at the Arts Theatre School in Moscow as well as graduated in the Juilliard School (M.F.A.) New York City, 1990. She started performing immediately in the city on Broadway receiving awards for roles such as Six Degrees of Separation or Hedda Galer.
